Project Activities and Impact:

 

• Homestay Operations Training: We provided a comprehensive 150-hour training certification program to equip the Van Vadi team with the skills and knowledge necessary to manage successful homestays. This training covered essential aspects of hospitality, including service, housekeeping, and guest communication. The training empowered the Van Vadi team with valuable skills, enhancing their employability and contributing to the economic development of the local community.
   

• Local Food Sourcing and Menu Curation: We collaborated with Van Vadi to develop a fusion menu that showcases the bounty of the local farming communities. This ensures that guests enjoy healthy, nutritious meals prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced directly from local farms.
   

• Responsible Tourism Education: We identified and documented scenic nature hikes in the surrounding area, promoting eco-tourism practices among the Van Vadi team and guests. Van Vadi is now well-positioned to promote responsible tourism principles among their guests, encouraging responsible travel that benefits the environment and local communities.
   

• Website Development: We created a beautiful and informative website (www.vanvadi.com) for Van Vadi. This digital platform serves as a vital tool for showcasing their unique offerings and attracting guests who share their values. The website has increased Van Vadi's visibility and accessibility, attracting guests who seek a transformative retreat experience.
